Skills
I offer support and tuition for free and open source software (FOSS).
Whether you want to get started with an application or need help with a specific problem or task, just let me know.
My digital photography workflow is comprised of powerful and cutting edge free and open source software.
Everything from my operating system and editing suite, to archive management and web publishing is built around efficiency, freedom, community ownership, accessibility and privacy.
If you are looking to escape corporate tech and become proficient in graphical tools that you are in control of I can help.
Sessions are available either in-person in central Somerset, or online via videolink at £35 for one hour or £20 for half an hour.
To enquire or to book a session get in touch any time.
A portion of your lesson fee is donated to the creators of the software to support its continued development.
I can also advise on switching to a GNU/Linux operating system, hosting your own website using YUNOhost, building it with Hugo or Wordpress, and switching from corporate social media to the Fediverse, which is community owned and run and is decentralised and open source.
